Fix C++ floating point literal formatting (#2114)

Found formatting errors with this regex
"([^a-z0-9\.]\.[0-9]|[^a-z0-9\.][0-9]\.[^a-z0-9\.])" and ignored false
positives.

Fixes #2112.
